We at "Schreib-Air & Kansas Copters" offer a one on one approach to helicopter instruction tailored to your needs. You learn at your own pace and are allowed to schedule in a manner to accommodate your personal budget. Your individual budget may be such that you can afford to fly every week, every other week, or stay and complete your rating in a matter of a couple of weeks or less depending on the rating sought. You decide how often you will fly.

We provide full service to the individual or organization having a need for a helicopter or just to simply fulfill your dream to become a helicopter pilot. We provide factory authorized helicopter sales, factory authorized service after the sale, helicopter instruction, and commercial helicopter services. Unlike others, we’re not a training mill. Our instructors are well qualified to provide enjoyable, safe, meaningful and effective instruction. They’re not here to build time and genuinely care about you as an individual. Our instructors are available on a first come first serve basis seven days a week. We instruct in the Robinson R22 & R44 helicopters, currently the most popular helicopters in the world. Depending on the helicopter rating sought you are required to satisfactorily obtain or hold an appropriate  flight medical, log the required flight time, demonstrate proficiency, complete ground school/training, pass knowledge test(s), pass a practical flight test(s), and oral exam(s).

The cost to obtain a helicopter rating varies depending on the rating sought, individual learning levels, frequency of lessons, and taking advantage of our account discount program that can save you up to 10% on your flying. As such, we would like to have one of our instructors personally visit with you to identify your training needs. We can also arrange to bring the helicopter and instructor to you!

Other materials may be required depending on individual student need and/or rating sought.
